Meaning:
We want but don’t give!
We grab but don’t search!
We keep remain the door closed…
And complain nobody is coming…

We want to achieve without losing anything!
We want to know without sharing anything!
We will get everything very easily when…
We understand the language used without words…

We will reach to the end of what has begun!
We will attain the way of Love!
How long shall we wait? Keep moving forward…
We will meet the God who is enlightening the way…

Be the protector for the one who is drowning!
Be the partner of the Truth!
We will reach to the last destination…
Once! Be the ‘Light’ of our own… ad

This Bhajan - Pran Priya Mane Vaishnav enlightens the depth of the worship of a devotee.  Here the poet - Narsinh Mehta (a devotee of Lord Krishna) can understand and clearly portray the emotions and affirmations of the Lord Krishna. This Bhajan (a prayerful song) shows the level of bond Narsinh Mehta has with the Lord Krishna through which he can comprehend and give the words to the feelings of the God! Here are the words of Shree Krishna for his devotees…

પ્રાણ પ્રિય મને વૈષ્ણવ વ્હાલા, અહર્નિશ તેને ગાવું રે;

All the Vaishnav (Devotees of Lord Krishna) are my beloved and I can sing about them incessantly. I keep going to the place where my devotee is calling, and leave behind every mantra, penance, holy places and even the paradise.

અંબરીશ રાજા મને અતિઘણો વ્હાલો, દુર્વાસાએ માનભંગ કીધું રે;

The king Ambarish (a great devotee of Lord Krishna) was very dear to me and Sage Durvasa cursed him. I had abandoned all my pride & took upon all curses on me and had incarnation for ten times.

ગજને માટે ગરૂડે ચડી પડ્યો હરિજનની શોધ લેવા રે;

I’m always searching for my sacred devotees sitting on an eagle. I don’t know about the higher or lower caste (the levels created by the society). The one who worships me is equal to me.

લક્ષ્મીજી અર્ધાંગના મારી, પણ મારા ભક્તની દાસી રે;

Laxmiji (Goddess of wealth) is my other half but she works for my devotee. All the sixty-eight holy places, ten millions of Ganga (Holy River) and ten millions of Kashi (Holy Place) are at the foot of my devotee.

ભક્ત ચાલે ત્યાં હું આગળ ચાલુ, ભક્ત સૂએ ત્યાં હું જાગું રે;

I walk ahead of my devotee and am awake when my devotee is sleeping. I hurt the tongue of the person with the truth who slanders my devotee.

મારાં રે બાંધ્યા વૈષ્ણવ છોડે, વૈષ્ણવે બાંધ્યા નવ છૂટે રે;

The ones controlled by me can only be freed by a Vaishnav but the ones controlled by a Vaishnav cannot be freed ever. That bonding will never break which a Vaishnav has created with me once.

બેસી ને ગાય ત્યાં ઊભો ઊભો સાંભળું, ઊભો ઊભો ગાય ત્યાં નાચું રે;

I listen by standing when (my devotee) is sitting and singing (a prayerful song). I start dancing when (my devotee) is standing and singing (a prayerful song). I am not at all detached from a Vaishnav : Narsaiyo (The poet – Narsinh Mehta) has learned it (through his devotion to Lord Krishna) correctly.

Through this prayerful song Narsinh Mehta reveals how the God feels about a true devotee and how much the God does to honor, protect and appreciate a devotee. This Bhajan – Pran Priya Mane Vaishnav describes the level of attachment the God creates with and for a devotee. This is an assurance of getting benefitted forever after creating a bond with the God… ad
