From everywhere to nowhere
What is that which lives forever ...

That’s not you or me
And not our memories ...

That’s definitely not our ego
Nor our problems ...

That could be a black hole
Or maybe the darkness ...

Possibly that is the time
Or maybe the existence ...

Perhaps that is the God
Or maybe our Soul ...

But for the lifetime of this body
‘Amee’ it’s only our deeds ...

Some deeds might of virtue
And others of vice ...

Whatever is the essence
Will catch us therefore ... ad

જાણે તું એક પતંગ અને હું તારી ફીરકી ...

મુશ્કેલીમાં તું ખેંચે આપણી મિત્રતાની ડોર,

અને પછી તું લઈને ઢીલ કરે મને તારાથી દૂર ...

મિત્રતા ... તારી અને મારી ...

જાણે તું એક વાદળ અને હું તારી વર્ષારાણી ...

ગુસ્સામાં કરીને ગર્જના તું ફેલાવે વિજપ્રકાશ,

અને પછી તું વરસીને મુજમાં બને નિર્મળ પાણી ...

મિત્રતા ... તારી અને મારી ...

જાણે તું એક ચંદ્ર અને હું તારી રાત્રી ...

ક્યારેક તું કરીને પૂર્ણિમા રોકે મારો અંધકાર,

અને પછી તું કરીને અમાવસ બને મારી વાણી ...

મિત્રતા ... તારી અને મારી ...

જાણે તું એક સાગર અને હું તારી ખારાઈ ...

ભલે કરતી પ્રયત્ન આ નદીઓ તને બદલવાની,

અને તું નહિ ભૂલે મને એની ખાતરી મને રહેવાની ...

મિત્રતા ... તારી અને મારી ...

જાણે તું એક મહેનત અને હું તારી કમાણી ...

જાણુંછું હું - છોડીશ નહિ તું તારી ગુણવત્તા મહેનત કરવાની,

અને મળતી રહેશે તને 'અમી' ભરી જિંદગી જીવવાની ... ad

Friendship ... Yours and Mine ...

Like you are a kite and I'm your spinner ...

You pull the string of our friendship when we are in trouble,

and release the string later to drag away yourself from me ...

Friendship ... Yours and Mine ...

Like you are a cloud and I'm your rain-queen ...

In anger of thunder you spread lightning,

and then you become pure water by raining through me ...

Friendship ... Yours and Mine ...

Like you are a moon and I'm your night ...

Sometimes your create a full-moon to stop my darkness,

and then you create a no-moon to become voice of me ...

Like you are an ocean and I'm your saltiness ...

No matter how hard these rivers try to change you,

and you'll not forget me that assurance will remain in me ...

Like you are the hard-work and I'm your earning ...

I know - You won't give up your quality of working hard,

સૂર્યને પ્રકાશનો લોભ નથી હોતો
અને ચંદ્રને અંધારાનો મોહ નથી હોતો ...

અગ્નિને જ્વાળાઓની ઈર્ષ્યા નથી હોતી,
અને નદીને વહેણની ચિંતા નથી હોતી ...

આકાશ વિસ્તરણથી તૂટતો નથી હોતો,
અને પૃથ્વી ભારથી સંકોચાયેલી નથી હોતી ...

પર્વતને ઊંચાઈનો ગર્વ નથી હોતો,
અને ખાઈ ઊંડાણમાં ખોવાયેલી નથી હોતી ...

પવનને સુસવાટાનો ભય નથી હોતો,
અને ઝરણાંને ગતિનો થાક નથી હોતો ...

વરસાદને જળનો સંગ્રહ કરવો નથી હોતો,
અને વિજળી ચમકથી અંજાયેલી નથી હોતી...

સાગર કિનારાને ભૂલતો નથી હોતો,
અને રણમાં રેત બંધાયેલી નથી હોતી ...

ફૂલ-પત્તાને સુંદરતાનો દેખાડો નથી હોતો,
અને પશુ-પક્ષીની આવડત છુપાયેલી નથી હોતી ...

અસ્તિત્વની ઊર્જા એના દરેક તત્વને પહોંચતી હોય છે,
પણ એમાં ફક્ત માણસ જ અટકતો ને અટકાવતો હોય છે ...

કદાચ દરેક પોતાના મૂળ સ્વભાવ મૂજબ વર્તતાં હોય છે,
પણ ‘અમી’ ફક્ત માણસ જ પોતાની ‘માણસાઈ’ ચૂકી જતો હોય છે ... ad

Translation:

The sun is not greedy for light,
And the moon is not fascinated by darkness ...

The fire is not jealous of the flames,
And the river is not worried about the flow ...

The sky don’t break with the expansion,
And the earth is not compressed by weight ...

The mountain is not proud of its height,
And the trench is not lost in the depths ...

The wind is not afraid of whistling,
And springs don’t get tired of its pace ...

The rain don’t have to store it’s water,
And the lightning is not astonished by its brightness ...

The sea don’t forget the shore,
And sand is not bound in the desert ...

The flowers n leaves don’t display their beauty,
And the skills of animals n birds are not hidden ...

The energy of existence reaches every element of it,
But among all only a human stops and restrains ...

Probably everyone is behaving according to their original nature,
But ‘Amee’ only a human keeps forgetting the ‘Humanity’ ... ad

For some it has come with the bunch of new resolutions & new energy to achieve them and for some it’s just same holidays, same celebrations & same start up. For some it has brought the joy to celebrate the gifts of Secret Santa and for some it’s a reason to celebrate the happiness of becoming the Secret Santa. For some it’s time to get to know each other more lovingly and for some it’s time to move on. For some it’s just a change of a date and for some it’s a change of life.

Whatever might have happened to us last year; we all have survived and entered into this New Year which is opening to us every day. It may have fetched some burdens of last year but we are still on our feet, so maybe this year will provide some more strength to our body. It may have scratched some past grudges but we are still mindful, so maybe this year will provide more forgiveness to our heart. It may have reminded some unfulfilled dreams but we are still breathing, so maybe this year will provide more clarity to our path.

This New Year has brought all of us to this day; with the ‘Hope’ to rise each one of us like the Sun. This New Year has brought all of us to this day; with the ‘Faith’ to keep pumping each one of us like the Heart. This New Year has brought all of us to this day; with the ‘Love’ to blossom each one of us like the Flower. We might wonder why this New Year is showering us with the hope, faith and love when we don’t trust ourselves and each other?! Maybe it has seen something good about us which we have forgotten or want to hide from the world!!!

If we have hidden an artist inside, it’s a waste of talent to the world; if have shut our creative thoughts, it’s a loss of invention to the world. And if being a giver, we are expecting others to start the good deed then we are becoming a good reason to the great loss to world humanity. We shouldn’t stop ourselves anymore. We shouldn’t hide ourselves anymore. We shouldn’t waste ourselves anymore.

Maybe this New Year wants us to fight with our own cocoon and become the butterfly. May be this New Year wants us to work hard with our talents and become the star. Maybe this New Year wants us to spread our sweet fragrance and become the flower. And we shouldn’t be worried about the other butterflies, flowers or stars in the world; together we all are going to make this world beautiful. We just have to trust ourselves, each other and this New Year … ad
