Every year I plan a trip with family for at least one week. I have always enjoyed togetherness, beautiful views and leisure time during my all past trips. All those times have become beautiful memories for lifetime when I had spent time with the people I love to be with. But my recent trip was quite different from the earlier ones. Of course it was a wonderful time spent with family but that included some adventures activities. I know there are much more adventurous & dangerous task people attend in compare to which I call adventure for myself; but for me that was the first attempt and amazing experience of doing something different. Something kind of which I had never tried in my life. I had enjoyed Scuba Diving and most of the sea water rides which includes Parasailing too. With the wonderful memories this trip has left me with few learning for the life time.

The obstacle was fear and not my potential. – I had not tried such adventures in the past because I was fearful. I have never been a sports person because I was having fear of attempting failure.

The period of being fearful had started from the second I took decision to do something different till the second I attempted it. – It was preplanned that we’ll drive from Pune to Goa by road and experience the Scuba Diving at Malvan Beach in between. The day I decided to experience the life of underwater, I started being fearful. I was having fear of losing family, fear of losing life and fear of failure.

Surround yourself with the bold ones who can help building your courage & give fruitful advises. – From Malvan Beach through boat we reached Sindhudurg point for Scuba Diving. My elder sister who is having experience of Scuba Diving in the past, advised me to attempt it first. So I don’t get scared because of the other’s fearful attempts. I took her advice and got ready for my first underwater experience.

Fear vanishes on attempt of the task like a Magic. – The moment I moved underwater holding the steps of the boat and took my first breath from oxygen bottle, I forgot about the fear and the world around me was completely different. The first view of that different world of underwater gave me strength to leave the steps and enjoy the upcoming moments.

In a different phase of life never forget your basics. – It was for the first time I was experiencing being underwater. I was so fascinated to see the corals and beautiful fishes. By mistake I loosened the mouth-grip for my oxygen bottle and drank some amount of water.

Be ready for uncertainty and always keep faith alive. – After drinking some amount of sea water I controlled my breathing till I came upside. May be the practice of doing Pranayam helped me that time. Mr. Yogesh the instructor, diver and savior took immediate action after getting my signal and got me upside. Every time you can’t control everything. You need to rely on some system, some people and some situations. You need to trust an unknown person and that unknown person can really take very good care of your life. I’m so grateful to Mr. Yogesh who saved me once and showed the other beautiful world underwater.

Keep breathing is most important for life. – Underwater you become aware for your each breath and can feel importance of breathing which normally we don’t feel in the air.

After giving attempt to the task all the complexities becomes weightless. – Before attempting the Scuba diving the divers kept some weight on my body to keep me stable underwater and there was also some weight of oxygen bottle. But once I reached underwater there was no feeling of extra weight on my body. In fact my body felt weightless.

For fulfillment - Live in the moment. – I have loved being underwater a lot. I had forgotten my fear, my family and the world upside the water. I tried a lot to hold at least one of the fishes for a second but could only touch a few. But it was great feeling to touch the softness of fishes and hardness of corals which kept me stable.

Attempt of fear is courageous & the outcome is incredible. – I could feel amazing for my first attempt of Scuba diving just because I was fearful at the beginning. And I’m grateful to God for making me courageous, so I could stick to decision of doing something different for my life.

Accompanying someone you love is always a treasure of Joy. – After finishing Scuba Diving we moved to Goa. My husband wanted me to go with him in Parasailing which I didn’t think of. But thanks to my husband I could experience flying for 2-3 minutes. I wish we could have been in the air for some more time.

All these learning I got through being underwater & flying are wonderful experiences which I wanted to live again & again; I hope with some more courageous levels and with some more exciting results… ad

In this today’s world of religious fights and politics, does anyone care about the ‘Truth’ and ‘Truthful Living’? People love to talk about the comments one has made and creating news relating it with the religion. The Media, Entertainment industry and Politics all are co-related with each other in such a way that it has become difficult for a common person to reach the ‘Truth’. Where we going and what are we spreading through social media? Do we really care for the religion of which we belong to and our country? It is not only about your or mine religion or about a country. It is about what we want to be and what we give to each other.

Today is the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak. His teachings were straightforward and simple. He firmly believed that the word ‘I’ or the ego was responsible for all our problems. He needed people to know that ‘Truth’ was all important, but ‘Truthful Living’ was even more essential. On the Guru Nanak Jayanti I would like to spread few messages of Guru Nanak.

As far as God is concerned there is no difference. God is also neither only Hindu nor only Muslim. His blessing extends to all those who live a life of COMPASSION, TRUTH and PIETY regardless of faith, religion or creed. He is the Creator, and is hence common to all.”

"To enable us to experience oneness we have to place RIGHT LIVING and RIGHT DEEDS above bookish creeds and religious rituals."

“Rich or poor, high caste or low, the bread earned by an HONEST living is superior. God blesses those who live a life of hard work and piety regardless of birth. All are equal in his eyes.”

"I belong to no sect and adore but ONE God. I see him in the earth below and in the heavens above and in all directions."

“Victory and defeat come from God. Do not forget that he who is victorious today may suffer the fate of the defeated tomorrow if he fails to glorify God. They who ruled yesterday, where are they today? ...DO NOT SOW THE SEED OF CRUELTY. He who is cruel himself suffers cruelty.”

"MY CASTE is that of wood and fire and I came from a town from where come both day and night."

“Saint or sinner, rich or poor, everyone has his own place on God’s earth. INNER QUALITIES WORK WELL than outer in the quest for God. Suffering and Happiness have to be experience by every person born. How much or how little is dependent on his actions.”

"SELFISH EGO IS THE ROOT CAUSE OF SIN AND SUFFERING and the remedy lies in renouncing self with humble service, sharing proceeds of efforts and sustaining self-effacing love for God."

“SUPERSTITION and BLIND FAITH is impediments to one’s growth as a good human being.”

BELIEVE IN GOD and there is no need to be afraid. No black magic and witchcraft can affect you if you believe in the power of God. Also, do not succumb to unnecessary temptations.”

“Ik Onkar Satinaamu, Karta purkhu, Nirbhau, Nirvairu, Akal murati, Ajuni Saibhan Gur prasadi. Aadi sach jugadi sach, hai bhi sach Nanak hosi bhi sach.”

Meaning: GOD IS ONE, HIS NAME IS TRUTH. He is the Supreme Creator of the Universe; he is sprit of the life. He is fearlessness, he is grudgeless. He is omnipresent; he is free from bondage of birth. He is self enlightening through the grace of the true Guru. Chant and meditate upon his name, because he is true from the time begin, he has been true since the ages, he is still true and ‘Guru Nanak’ says he will be True FOREVER.

Ik Onkar’ is the Mool Mantra (basic chanting) of Guru Granth Sahib. This chanting narrates the UNIQUENESS of God. The Guru Granth Sahib is treated like a living Guru. The Guru Granth Sahib contains compositions of the first five Gurus and the ninth Guru of Sikhism and sixteen Hindu and Muslim saints along with a few other poets like Mardana. Anyone regardless of caste or creed could and can still go and read from it.

I’m not a Sikh and don’t know much about Sikhism but yes I strongly do believe that GOD IS ONE. Is it so difficult to consider the other person a HUMAN instead of a Christian, a Muslim, a Hindu or a Sikh? ... ad

A few days ago I had a plan to meet an Entrepreneur Mr. Sandeep Patel for a Project work. When I reached his office, he was busy in a meeting. Fortunately, I was called in between to attend that meeting and listen to the conversations. Later on I understood why I was allowed in an in-house meeting, he doesn’t want to waste the Time in explaining their work and my role on that specified project. The meeting was about the upcoming targets of the company and he was discussing about the plans & actions needed to be taken care by the each department.

Being an external observer, I could feel the warm association between the staff members and a Boss. Actually, I should say a Leader. Why a Leader and not a boss? Well the answer to that question only encouraged me to write on the Tale of Grit of Mr. Sandeep Patel. Through the meeting discussions I found that Mr. Sandeep has very well understood the flaws & the best qualities of his each employee. Mr. Sandeep Patel - A Leader was holding a meeting where almost all the members were having freedom to ask questions and give their own ideas.

Being a Leader Mr. Sandeep was totally in control about the flow of discussions, the conclusions, the deadlines and the cost. Being a Leader he was aware about the problems being faced by his employees & workers and was eager to solve them with the use of technology and new machineries. Being a Leader he was having complete knowledge about the processes and workload at each level. And to make sure the completion of the task within the deadline he could manage the staff of different departments to help each other at required stages. I could feel the flow of that meeting was in a complete Win-Win scenario till the end.

Mr. Sandeep Patel is a CEO of Nepra Resource Management Pvt. Ltd. His company is one of the leading companies providing Waste Management Solutions in Ahmedabad, India. Mr. Sandeep has started an initiative called ‘Let’s Recycle’ to provide Strategic, Eco friendly and Tech-savvy solutions to the waste management. When I asked Mr. Sandeep, ‘Why waste management business?’ he said “I always wanted to do something which most of the educated people would not like to do. And I found bigger challenges in this Waste Management Business.” The Tale of Grit is he has the Clear Vision of ‘The Benchmark’ for his company.

Through the further meetings and staff interactions I found Mr. Sandeep is so Passionate about the Waste and his positive approach, dedication & understanding is creating the work environment friendly & breathing. Mr. Sandeep has done a research about the Pollution norms, Eco systems, Waste strategies, Waste Generators & Recyclers for several years before jumping into the waste management business. The Tale of Grit is he wants to create a perfect Model through his company for the accomplishment of ‘Clean India Mission.’

Mr. Sandeep is a firm believer of building the Trust with his clients & within the organization through maintaining the deadlines & transparency. To fulfill the commitments and provide trainings, he himself has done waste pick-up and segregation many times. He firmly believes that with the technology & trained staff he can achieve the goal of becoming a Zero Waste Enterprise. His enthusiasm about the Waste & his hard work towards his goal is creating a great impact on the progress of the company and the people working for it.

All the employees and workers I got a chance to meet personally confirmed one stating that they have been given full freedom to work on their profiles by Mr. Sandeep Patel. The people working for ‘Let’s Recycle’ find opportunities in waste and are grateful for the learning they are getting through daily challenges. I could find few of them so motivated and passionate about their work, including people working at ground level. I could see the more leaders being created at each level of the company under the Great Leadership by Mr. Sandeep Patel.

Mr. Sandeep’s initiative ‘Let’s Recycle’ has made a huge difference in the life of more than 1000 waste pickers by providing a systematic working environment, insurance & daily payment by cash. His well equipped & tech-savvy waste picking facilities ends up with environment friendly solutions of reducing CO2 emissions. His strategy of not to say ‘NO’ to the client while picking up dry waste creates more value for a company willing to become a Zero Waste Company. To spread awareness on waste he has got created a mobile application called ‘Recycle Rewards’ and the presentations. The Tale of Grit is Mr. Sandeep Patel is creating a great impact on the environment through his Passion about the waste.

Mr. Sandeep Patel is a great Leader, a Mover and a very thoughtful Human Being. He is working hard for his Passion and creating the best from Waste. His dreams about creating Zero Waste Enterprise can become a great help to the ‘Clean India Mission’ of our Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi. His company provides an opportunity for ALL who wish to join ‘Clean India Mission’ being an Industry, a Company, a Resident, a Socialist, a Volunteer or a Technophile… ad
