In my
school days this prayer ‘Aye Malik Tere Bande Hum’ was daily
being played and I’m glad the practice is still being continued by my kid’s
school. This prayer is actually a song from the movie ‘Do Aankhe Barah Haath’. The great lines of the prayer are written
by Bharat Vyas and it is beautifully
sung by The Legend Lata Mangeshkar
in the movie.
Aye malik tere bande hum, aise ho hamare
karam.
Neki par chale aur badi se tale, taki haste
hue nikle dam.

Dear God,
we are your souls, (please bless us) so we do our (daily) deeds as if; we can always
live the life with honesty and ignore
the unethical path hence we can die with a smile.

The human
is very weak (from inside) and having lacks of deficiency, but you are there
(to save us) and because of your mercy,
this world is still resistible. Since you have given us birth, you will
also (give us strength) to bear our troubles…
We can
always live the life with honesty and ignore the unethical path, hence we can
die with a smile.

This world
is being surrounded by the darkness (of negativity) and the human (mind) is
being fearful because the human is unaware (of his/her own strength) and cannot
see the light of real Happiness is being
hidden (inside only). The light of your existence (inside the soul) is so
bright; it can turn the moonless night into the full moon…
We can
always live the life with honesty and ignore the unethical path, hence we can
die with a smile.

thamna,
Woh burai kare hum bhalai bhare, Nahin badle
ki woh kamna.

Dear God,
please hold us firmly when we face any sinful behavior; so we can respond the other
with the kindness against their immoral act. There should not be any desire of revenge
in our mind. We can take every forward
step with so much Love and through this we can diminish the illusion of reprisal.
We can
always live the life with honesty and ignore the unethical path, hence we can
die with a smile.
Dear God,
we are your souls…
This prayer
inspires us to walk on the path of
ultimate happiness and peace through honesty, forgiveness and nonviolence…
